Description Karlson
CARLSON pepper is a mid-early hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is medium-height, semi-determinate, with a height of 40 to 55 cm and medium leafiness. The culture forms 6-8 fruits simultaneously, contributing to high yield and efficient use of planting area.

CARLSON pepper fruits have a drooping cube-shaped form and exhibit strong gloss. In technical ripeness, they are green, and in biological ripeness, they are vivid red. Fruit mass varies from 110 to 130 grams, with wall thickness of 5-6 mm, ensuring juiciness and pleasant sweet taste. The fruits contain 2.5 to 3.5% sugar and a significant amount of ascorbic acid (90-180 mg per 100 g), making them not only tasty but also beneficial.

The hybrid is resistant to verticillium wilt, enhancing yield reliability. Yield ranges from 3.5 to 6 kg per square meter, and under plastic coverings, it may reach 6.7 kg/m². High taste quality and fruit marketability in both ripeness phases make CARLSON pepper versatile, suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
