Ivan-da-Maria pepper is an early-maturing hybrid that begins fruiting 96-110 days after germination. It is suitable for cultivation in both plastic greenhouses and open ground, especially in southern regions. The plant forms a tall bush up to 1.8 meters high with moderate leafiness and a stem-like shape. Fruits have a narrow conical shape, smooth surface, and downward orientation, weighing between 85 to 130 grams. In technical ripeness, fruits are yellow, and in biological ripeness, they turn into a deep red. Fruit wall thickness is 5-6 mm, ensuring good fleshiness and juiciness.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 6.2-7.6 kg per square meter, with even fruiting. The plant is resistant to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, verticillium wilt, and tip rot, as well as pest resistance. Bushes are vigorous and semi-spreading, requiring staking and removal of side branches and leaves up to the first fork for optimal growth and fruiting. Recommended planting scheme — 40x60 cm.

Ivan-da-Maria pepper is valued for its high flavor quality and attractive fruit appearance. It is excellent for fresh consumption, home cooking, and canning. Sowing for seedlings is recommended at the end of February with transplanting at the 1-2 true leaf stage, and transplanting to greenhouses at the end of May. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions, providing a stable and high-quality yield.
