The pepper variety SALTAN belongs to the medium-maturing types, with a period from germination to technical maturity of 130-135 days, and to biological maturity — 158-165 days. The plant is medium-height, reaching 45-60 cm, and is characterized by dense foliage. The fruits are flat-round, ruffled type, smooth and slightly ribbed, large, weighing from 100 to 150 grams. The fruit wall thickness is 8-10 mm, giving it juiciness and good density.

At the technical maturity stage, the fruits are light green, and upon reaching biological maturity, they turn dark red.
