RED CUBE

The 'Red Cube' pepper variety is a medium-early, high-yielding hybrid with a vegetative period ranging from 105 to 140 days depending on growing conditions. The plant is strong, spreading, 60 to 85 cm tall, with well-leafed dark green medium-sized leaves. For high-quality yield, it is recommended to grow both in open ground on garden plots and in plastic greenhouses, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm and mandatory support of plants after transplanting.

The peppers are cube-shaped, large, weighing 200 to 250 grams, with wall thickness of 8-10 mm. In the technical ripening stage, they are green, and at biological maturity, they turn bright red with a smooth, glossy skin. The fruits are slightly ribbed, fleshy, and juicy, possessing excellent aroma and taste, making them suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and canning. The fruits hang downward on the branches, facilitating harvest.

The variety is characterized by high yield — 6 to 7.6 kg per square meter — and resistance to several diseases, including verticillium wilt and tobacco mosaic virus. Due to the durability and storability of the fruits, 'Red Cube' withstands transportation and storage well, making it popular in the market. The plant requires timely removal of side shoots and leaves until the first fork for optimal growth and fruiting.
