Angus

Angus F1 is an early hybrid of cube-shaped type, developed by the Dutch selection company Syngenta. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity — the fruiting period is 60-65 days from transplanting seedlings to the final location. The plants are tall, branched with strong stems, which ensures a large number of fruits and high yield potential. Angus F1 quickly adapts to various growing conditions and has strong immunity, being resistant to temperature stress, especially heat, making it optimal for cultivation in heated and unheated plastic greenhouses.

The fruits of the Angus pepper have a standard cube shape, uniform in size and weight, reaching up to 10 cm in length and about 8 cm in diameter. The average fruit weight is 220-240 grams. In biological maturity, the fruits turn a deep red color. The fruit walls are thick, fleshy, and juicy, with a sweet and crunchy flavor, making this variety popular both for fresh consumption and culinary use, including hot dishes.

The Angus F1 variety is recommended for planting at a density of 30-45 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to maximum yield. Due to its versatility and resistance to adverse conditions, this hybrid is successfully grown under greenhouse conditions and is intended for fresh market sale. Its high adaptability and stable formation of standard fruits on all tiers make Angus F1 an attractive choice for professional vegetable growers.
