Description Jersey
Sweet pepper Gipsy F1 is a super-early, high-yielding hybrid of Hungarian type, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The plant is medium-sized, compact, 45-55 cm tall, with a spreading form and strong stems requiring staking. Plants have intensive foliage and are low-maintenance, but regular watering and feeding are recommended to increase yield. Planting density is 35,000-40,000 plants per hectare, which helps achieve maximum harvest.

Gipsy pepper fruits are conical with three chambers, approximately 10 cm long and 6 cm in diameter, weighing 90-120 g. Fruit walls are dense and elastic, 5-7 mm thick, ensuring good transportability and preservation of flavor during storage and thermal processing. Fruit color changes from light yellow at technical maturity to bright red at biological maturity. Flesh is juicy, with a rich flavor and pleasant aroma, making this pepper versatile for fresh consumption, canning, and processing.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (strain P0) and fungal diseases, significantly reducing the risk of crop losses. The first harvest matures uniformly around 58-62 days after transplanting, allowing for early and stable fruit collection. Yield is 3.7-4.2 kg per square meter, making Gipsy pepper an excellent choice for commercial cultivation and home gardens.
