HANI RED

HANI RED — ultra-early hybrid of sweet pepper, developed by Ergon, intended for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground. Medium-statured, compact, and productive plant, characterized by semi-spreading and tall growth habit. Fruits have a glossy surface, dark green color in technical ripeness and bright red in biological ripeness. Conical shape, weighing 35–40 grams, measuring 3 by 5–7 cm, with wall thickness of 3–5 mm and small seed chamber.

Fruit flavor is rich and harmonious, with sugar content up to 11%, making them especially sweet and attractive for fresh consumption as well as processing. Fruits retain turgor and flavor qualities during long-term storage, enhancing their commercial appeal. The hybrid is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (Tm:0,1,2) and can withstand high temperatures, expanding cultivation possibilities.

HANI RED is characterized by high yield: in open ground, about 4 kg of produce can be obtained per plant, and in protected ground, with proper care and balanced nutrition, yield reaches 5.5–6 kg. Maturation period is 60–65 days, enabling early harvest. High profitability of the hybrid is due to its unique flavor, disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions.
