Pepper Udacha

The 'Lucy' pepper variety is a fast-maturing hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant is tall, reaching 50-60 cm in height, with a compact and low-growing bush form. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and slightly wrinkled. Fruits are narrowly conical, slightly ribbed, 15-17 cm long, with a drooping conical shape and a slightly glossy surface. At technical maturity, fruits are cream-yellow, while at biological maturity, they turn deep red. Fruit mass ranges from 100 to 135 g, with a wall thickness of 5-7 mm, providing juicy, tender flesh with a thin skin. The flavor of fresh fruits is highly rated, sweet and juicy, making this variety suitable for fresh consumption as well as various culinary preparations. The number of locules in the fruit is 2-3, which is characteristic for this variety. The 'Lucy' variety is distinguished by high yield, especially under plastic covers, where it reaches 6.5 kg per square meter. Due to its characteristics, this pepper is suitable for cultivation in various regions and is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking an early and high-quality harvest of sweet peppers.
