The "Zlata" (Capsicum annuum) pepper variety is a mid-season sweet pepper intended for open-ground cultivation. The plant is vigorous, forming upright, dense bushes up to 60-75 cm tall. Fruits are conical, with length and width ratio approximately 12:6.1, weighing 120-200 grams. In technical maturity, they are pale yellow, and in biological maturity, they turn red. Fruit walls are 5-7 mm thick, making them fleshy and dense. The plant adapts well to various regions, including Ukraine, and exhibits high yield. "Zlata" pepper fruits are highly nutritious and rich in vitamins and microelements. They contain vitamin C in four times higher amounts than in lemons, as well as beta-carotene, potassium, sodium, calcium, and iron. Additionally, they contain capsaicin — a substance with pronounced anticancer properties. Yellow fruits are rich in lutein, which positively affects vision. Due to their low caloric content, peppers can be consumed in large quantities both fresh and prepared. "Zlata" pepper is versatile: its fruits are suitable for direct consumption, processing, freezing, and cooking various dishes. Thanks to their fleshy and aromatic flesh, this variety is ideal for stuffing. Recommended planting scheme is 40x30 cm, ensuring optimal growth conditions. Seed production takes place in the Czech Republic, guaranteeing high-quality planting material.
