Strawberry pepper Strike F1 is an ultra-early hybrid of sweet Hungarian pepper with a vegetation period of 55-58 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant is strongly growing, semi-spreading, medium-height, with a powerful leafy canopy that effectively protects the fruits from sunburn. The hybrid does not require removal of the apical bud, simplifying care and increasing productivity.
The fruits have an elongated-cuboid shape with a wall thickness of 5-5.5 mm. In technical ripeness, they are yellow or olive-yellow, and in biological ripeness, they turn bright red. The average fruit weight varies from 105-130 grams in technical ripeness to 120-180 grams in biological ripeness. The pepper is characterized by rapid and easy transition to biological ripeness, allowing for the harvest of ultra-early red pepper.
The Strike F1 hybrid has high resistance to blossom-end rot, significantly improving the quality of the harvest. It is suitable for cultivation under various conditions: in greenhouses, plastic tunnels without heating, under cover material on arches, and also in open ground.
