Pepper variety "Spanish Bull" is a medium-late, high-yielding variety best grown under greenhouse conditions. The plant reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.7 meters, features good leafiness and shortened internodes. Plants are sturdy and require minimal care, making them suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and under plastic coverings. To obtain a high-quality yield, it is recommended to prune the plant by removing side shoots and leaves before the first fork, and to follow a planting scheme of 40x60 cm.
The fruits of the "Spanish Bull" pepper have an elongated-cube shape with a ribbed surface and wall thickness ranging from 7 to 9 mm. They are large, weighing 350 to 400 grams, very juicy and sweet. Immature fruits are dark green, turning bright red upon ripening. Due to their excellent flavor and dense flesh, the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for freezing and canning.
Growing this variety requires sowing seedlings in late February, transplanting them into the soil at the end of May, and providing regular watering and fertilization. The plant is resilient to various conditions and tolerates weather fluctuations well. Although seed germination may present some challenges, the variety is valued for its early fruiting, attractive fruit shape, and outstanding taste.
