The plant is bush-type, of medium height with medium-sized green leaves. The fruits have a conical-prismatic shape, smooth and glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and at biological ripeness, they turn into a deep, rich red hue. Fruit length ranges from 10 to 12 cm, with a wall thickness of up to 5 mm, ensuring juicy and tender flesh. The number of locules in the fruits varies from 2 to 3.

This variety exhibits high resistance to various diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, potato virus Y, verticillium wilt, and mosaic disease. Thanks to these qualities, along with its high yield of up to 6 kg per square meter, PROMETHEUS is a reliable choice for gardeners and farmers. Tall forms are recommended to be grown on trellises with two-stem pruning, whereas low-growing varieties suit traditional bush-type cultivation.
