NEZHENKA

The 'Nezhenka' variety of Chinese cabbage is an ultra-early hybrid intended for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The period from germination to the beginning of harvesting is 45 to 48 days, allowing for an early harvest. The plant is compact, forming neat wide-elliptic heads weighing from 300 to 500 grams with a semi-vertical rosette of leaves. The leaves are green, slightly wrinkled, and hairless, while the inner leaves are yellowish-white. Due to its exceptional taste qualities, the cabbage is excellent for fresh consumption as well as for making soups, main dishes, and Korean-style snacks.

This hybrid is distinguished by its high nutritional value: it is rich in vitamin C, provitamin A (carotene), vitamins E, B1, B2, B6, K, PP, and folic acid. Such cabbage is ideal for dietary nutrition for both adults and children. The hybrid has genetic resistance to clubroot and tolerance to bacterial soft rot, ensuring harvest stability and plant health.

The yield of the variety is from 3 to 5 kg per square meter, and the heads mature quite uniformly. The heads have good density and a mass from 1.0 to 2.4 kg. The variety is characterized by plasticity and relative resistance to damage from cabbage fly, as well as to spring cold snaps and frosts down to -5 °C. It is recommended to use the 'Nezhenka' cabbage fresh, especially in the early period, making it a universal and in-demand product for various culinary purposes.
