Bell pepper ORENY F1

Czech Breeding for Professional Greenhouses

The 'Oreni F1' hybrid by the Czech company Semo is a go-to choice for growers focused on premium-grade produce in protected cultivation. This mid-season variety (maturing in 72–78 days) combines a classic blocky shape with a vibrant, eye-catching transition from deep green to bright orange.

Fruit Characteristics and Cultivation

During the ripening process, the fruit shifts from a dark green technical maturity to a rich, intense orange. This distinct color change allows for precise harvest scheduling based on market demand. With a wall thickness of 5–6 mm, 'Oreni F1' offers excellent firmness, which is essential for long-distance logistics and maintaining shelf appeal.

• Cultivation Type: Exclusively indoor, specifically designed for professional glasshouses.
• Consistency: The hybrid is optimized for intensive farming conditions, where strict microclimate control is paramount.
• Market Use: The blocky geometry of the fruit is ideal for the fresh produce market and industrial processing.

The reputation of Semo’s Czech breeding program is built on rigorous quality standards for seed material, and 'Oreni F1' is a testament to this commitment. This hybrid thrives under the standardized protocols of modern greenhouse facilities, offering high yield potential per square meter. Its reliable 70-day cycle provides agronomists with a predictable asset for scheduling consistent deliveries to retail chains.
