This variety is well-suited for large-scale production, offering predictable growth cycles and manageable labor requirements.

Agrotechnical specifics and maintenance

The beauty of 'Milan' lies in its structural resilience. The bushes are easy to maintain, requiring minimal structural support, which significantly reduces labor hours during the active growth phase. From an operator's perspective, the spacing of the foliage is optimal for manual harvesting, allowing for efficient work without damaging the plants.

• Germination and Vigor: Seeds provided by 'Ooo Global Sids' show strong germination energy, even when spring temperatures are inconsistent.
• Stress Tolerance: The variety exhibits good adaptability to the temperature fluctuations typical of open-ground environments, maintaining fruit set even under moderate stress.
• Marketable Quality: The peppers maintain a consistent shape and wall thickness, making them highly versatile for both fresh market sales and processing.

Operational advice

To maximize yields with 'Milan', we recommend focusing on consistent moisture management during the fruiting phase. The variety responds very well to regular irrigation, which directly impacts fruit weight. While the plant is quite hardy, standard disease prevention protocols for open-ground crops should be followed to protect the yield. Overall, this is a pragmatic choice for growers looking for a dependable sweet pepper variety that does not require overly complex specialized equipment or excessive intervention.
