Pepper ALLROUNDER

Efficient Pepper Production in Open Fields

The «Allrounder» pepper by Rijk Zwaan is a precision tool designed for growers who prioritize reliable, marketable yields in open-field conditions. With a maturity window of 55 to 65 days, this hybrid is a strategic asset for those looking to optimize their harvest schedule and hit the market at the right time. Rijk Zwaan’s breeding expertise ensures that this variety performs consistently, even when environmental factors are less than ideal.

Practical Field Application

The primary advantage of the Allrounder hybrid is its balance between rapid development and structural resilience. Unlike greenhouse varieties that require controlled environments, this pepper is engineered for the rigors of the open field, including exposure to fluctuating temperatures and intense sunlight.

• Operational Efficiency: High environmental plasticity allows for reduced inputs regarding micro-climate management, helping to control production costs while maintaining high quality.
• Market Readiness: The short vegetative cycle enables producers to harvest early, often avoiding the late-season pest and disease pressures that affect profitability.
• High-Quality Yields: The resulting fruit meets strict commercial standards, featuring uniform shape and excellent storage qualities, making it a favorite for both fresh produce distribution and supply chains.

Growers utilize the Allrounder for its dependability. It is the go-to choice for intensive cultivation systems where timing is essential. By adhering to standard irrigation and nutrient programs, farmers can maximize the output of uniform, premium-grade sweet peppers, ensuring that the crop remains profitable from the very start of the harvest season.
