Pepper LORCA

Sweet pepper LORCA is a mid-early variety of Capsicum annuum L., suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant has medium to high height with a compact form and medium to large leaves, colored green or dark green with pronounced wrinkling. Fruits are cube-shaped, drooping, with a glossy or highly glossy surface. In technical ripeness, they are green, and in biological ripeness — red or dark red. Fruit weight ranges from 170 to 190 grams, wall thickness varies from 7 to 9 mm. Marketable yield reaches 4.2 kg per square meter. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. LORCA F1 is a hybrid variant of this variety, characterized by high yield and suitable for extended cropping cycles in glass and plastic greenhouses. The plant is vigorous, with excellent fruit setting even under cold or hot climate conditions. Hybrid fruits are uniform, cube-shaped, with color ranging from dark green to bright red. Their weight can reach 300 grams, and size — approximately 11 by 11 cm. Wall thickness of the hybrid is 10–12 mm, making the fruits succulent and attractive for versatile use.
