Description ORIEN
Sweet pepper Oríen, also known by the folk name 'Bull's Ear', is an extremely productive French selection variety with characteristic fruits of a classic conical, elongated, and slightly flattened shape resembling ears. The plant is vigorous, well-branched, reaching 50-70 cm in open ground. At biological maturity, the fruits turn dark red, weigh 100-150 grams, and have a wall thickness of 4-5 mm. The seed cavity is small, making the flesh especially dense and aromatic.

This variety has a bright and intense flavor, making it an excellent choice for fresh consumption, preservation, and paprika production. Oríen has good market appearance and high transportability, allowing it to retain quality during transport and storage. Early maturity — 95-100 days to technical ripeness and 115-120 days to biological ripeness — enables a quick harvest.

Moreover, Oríen is resistant to many diseases and temperature stress, making it a reliable and easy-to-grow variety. Its vigorous plant and high yield ensure a steady harvest of large, flavorful fruits suitable for both home use and commercial cultivation.
