Pepper Fabris

Technical Specifications and Morphological Profile

The «Fabris» pepper from Rijk Zwaan is a high-performance, early-maturing hybrid of the «kapia» type, designed for rapid market entry within 55–65 days. The hybrid’s production capacity relies on balanced vegetative growth, ensuring high fruit uniformity even under variable environmental conditions.

Fruit Design and Agronomic Value

The technical edge of the «Fabris» lies in the geometry and internal structure of its fruit, tailored to meet modern logistics and processing standards:

• Geometry: The conical shape allows for efficient packing density and provides structural resistance to mechanical impacts during transportation.
• Yield Parameters: With an average weight of 100–120 grams, the fruits hit the "sweet spot" for both retail sales and industrial processing.
• Biological Maturity: The transition to a deep, dark red color indicates high levels of carotenoids and solid sugar content, ensuring excellent market appeal.
• Versatility: The hybrid shows robust adaptability across different cultivation environments, performing consistently well in both open-field conditions and greenhouse setups.

The thick wall structure of the fruit prevents rapid dehydration, significantly extending shelf life. For professional growers, the Rijk Zwaan «Fabris» represents a strategic choice for high-margin, early-season production, where yield stability and fruit durability are primary requirements for success.
