Description PICCADILLY
Piccadilly is a medium-early sweet pepper variety characterized by a fruit maturation period from germination to technical ripeness of 95-105 days, and to biological ripeness — 115-120 days. The fruits of this variety have a drooping, elongated, narrow-triangular shape, a rich orange color, and a distinct fruity aroma. Fruit size is 20-25 cm in length and 3.5-4.5 cm in width, with wall thickness reaching 4-5 mm. The fruit stem attachment site is convex, which is one of the distinctive features of the variety. The Piccadilly variety is distinguished by its uniform yield, high marketability, and excellent fruit transportability. This makes it suitable for both commercial cultivation and home use. The pepper is well-suited for fresh consumption, as well as for home cooking and canning. The yield of this variety reaches 4-5 kg per square meter at a planting density of 4-5 plants per m2. For successful cultivation, only germinated seeds are recommended, which germinate within 10-15 days at a temperature of 25-28°C. The variety is resistant to tobacco mosaic virus (TMV), enhancing its reliability and reducing the risk of yield loss. These characteristics make Piccadilly an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers seeking a high-quality and flavorful sweet pepper harvest.
