ARTEMOVKA

The Artemovka cabbage is a late-ripening variety of domestic breeding created at the Scientific Center of Vegetables and intended for cultivation in the Far East conditions. The fruit maturation period ranges from 130 to 176 days, allowing for a harvest at the end of the season. The leaf rosette consists of 10-15 wide, small, green leaves with wavy edges and medium waxy coating expression, directed upwards and reaching a diameter of 35-60 cm. The heads have an oval-flat shape, a dense structure, and a mass from 1.5 to 3.5 kg, ensuring high product marketability. The variety is distinguished by drought resistance and head cracking resistance, which contributes to stable yields with a marketable product output level of 96%. The inner part of the head is whitish with good taste qualities, making the cabbage especially suitable for pickling. The chemical composition at biological maturity includes 8.8% dry matter and 4.5% total sugar, ensuring a pleasant taste and good product quality. ARTEMOVKA stores well, allowing it to be used for an extended period after harvest. The average length of the outer and inner stalk facilitates processing and cooking. Thanks to high density and immunity to many diseases, this variety is a reliable choice for commercial production and home gardening in regions with challenging climatic conditions.
