ATLETTIKO — an early-maturing hybrid of bok choy, distinguished by high stress resistance and adaptability to various growing conditions. The head has a cylindrical shape, green on the outside and tender yellow inside, giving the vegetable an attractive appearance. The leaf rosette is vertical, of medium size; the leaves themselves vary from medium to large size, possess a highly blistered structure and a glossy surface with a flat and wide vein. Leaf pubescence is very weak, which facilitates plant care and processing. ATLETTIKO hybrid heads are large, barrel-shaped, elastic and dense, well-protected, weighing from 1.4 to 2.0 kg. They have good internal structure and excellent taste qualities, making this variety ideal for fresh consumption. Thanks to the density and elasticity of the heads, the cabbage is well-transported and retains high marketable qualities for a long time, which is especially important for commercial cultivation and marketing. The hybrid is well-suited for packaging, which facilitates its sale and storage. Growing ATLETTIKO cabbage requires fertile and well-cultivated soils, as the crop is light-loving, moisture-loving and cold-hardy. Seed sowing for seedlings is carried out in greenhouses or under plastic covers at the end of April — beginning of May. After 30 days from the emergence of seedlings, when the plants have formed 4-5 true leaves, the seedlings are transplanted to open ground at a distance of 40×40 cm. Plant care includes regular weeding, pest control, soil loosening, watering and feeding with organic and mineral fertilizers. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in spring and autumn cycles, which expands its use possibilities in agriculture.
