Autumn variety of the Moscow Academy of Agriculture named after K. A. Timiryazev. Obtained by crossing the varieties Toma and Lesnaya Krasavitsa. Breeders: S. T. Chizhov, S. P. Potapov. Approved for the Central Chernozem and Northwest regions. Widely grown in the Moscow region.
Tree of a bush type, below average height. Young crown is bell-shaped, fruiting crown is round-oval, medium density, strong foliage. Bark color of the trunk is dark gray. Skeletal branches are gray, arranged obliquely-vertical. Buds are sessile and terminal. Bud dormancy is high. Branching capacity is weak.
Shoots are brown, curved, medium length, thin, round in cross-section; internodes medium length. Buds are medium in number, small, convex. Buds are deviated, dark brown, conical in shape. Leaf is small or medium, elongated-oval or egg-shaped, green, slightly curved, elastic, thin, smooth, serrated edge, no pubescence on upper and lower surfaces. Petiole is long.
Inflorescence — shield-shaped cluster, average number of flowers (5-7). Flowers are medium size, cup-shaped, corolla white, petal edge entire, petal closure strong. Buds are white.
Fruits of medium size, up to 130 g, double-conical or round shape, slightly ribbed. Skin of medium thickness, smooth, matte, main color yellow-green, covering color moderately expressed, red, blurred. Under-skin dots numerous, small, weakly expressed. Rust is absent. Peduncle of medium length and thickness. Bore is small and narrow. Plate is bumpy, deep, medium width. Calyx is half-open or closed. Sub-calyx tube is small. Axial cavity of medium diameter. Heart is rhomboid, small. Seeds are medium, 5-10 per fruit, dark brown.
Flesh is yellow-white, slightly acidic-sweet, without aroma, slightly juicy, medium density, fine-grained. Fruit appearance is attractive (4.0 points). Taste evaluation is 3.7 points. Chemical composition of fruits: 15.8% dry matter, 10.8% soluble substances, 8.2% sugars, 0.3% acids, 137 mg/100g of P-active substances.
Autumn variety. Maximum fruit storage duration 100-120 days (at 0°C). Fruit drop is weak. Transportability is high. Fruit marketability is medium. Technical variety.
Partially self-fertile. Pollinating varieties: Moskvichka, Mramornaya, Narodnaya Efimova.
Early fruiting variety. Yield per tree 30-40 kg. Fruit production is regular. Highly resistant to extreme environmental conditions and diseases.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, early fruiting, resistance to scab.
