Winter variety obtained at VNIIGiSPR named after I. V. Michurin. Breeders: S. P. Yakovlev, A. P. Grigbanovskiy, N. I. Savelyev, V. V. Chivilev, S. S. Yakovleva. Obtained by crossing varieties Talgarskaya Krasavitsa and Doch' Zari. Approved for the Central Chernozem region since 2004.
Tree is strong-growing, with an oval crown of medium density. Fruit-bearing type is mixed.
Shoots of medium thickness, straight, greenish-brown, bare, with few buds, small, bent, conical, smooth. Leaves of medium size, round, short-pointed, green, smooth, shiny, with delicate venation, leaf blade curved upward, base shape obtuse, serration finely toothed, petiole of medium length, stipules lanceolate.
Fruits of medium to above-medium size, weighing 130-200 g, elongated-pedunculate, regular shape, smooth. Skin is medium, smooth, waxy, with a waxy coating. Main color at harvest maturity is greenish-yellow, at consumer maturity yellow, with a blurred covering. Peduncle is medium, straight, upright. Bases are small, narrow, without rust, calyx closed, non-falling, plate small, narrow. Heart is medium, bulbous, seed chambers closed, medium. Seeds are medium, narrow, conical, brown.
Flesh is white, medium density, tender, semi-waxy, very juicy, without bitterness or granulation, flavor sour-sweet, with medium aroma. Taste evaluation 4.3 points.
Fruits contain dry soluble solids — 16.1%, sugars — 11.6%, ascorbic acid — 9.3 mg/100g, P-active substances — 106.0 mg/100g.
Enters fruiting stage on the 5th-6th year. High yield. Harvest maturity occurs in the second decade of September, consumer period duration under refrigerated storage — 120-150 days.
Characterized by relatively high winter hardiness. After artificial freezing in mid-winter at -38°C, bark showed no freezing damage, tissue damage to cambium and xylem did not exceed 1.4 points. Not affected by scab and entomosporiosis.
Advantages of the variety: long fruit consumption period, complex disease resistance.
Disadvantages of the variety: high tree height, fruits become smaller when crown becomes dense.
