Description Yuryevskaya
Winter variety selected by VSTISP. Obtained from open pollination of interspecific hybrid No. 9 (Ussuriyskaya Ch Lyubimitsa Klappa) in 1962. Authors: Yu. A. Petrov, N. V. Efimova. Included in the State Register in 2005.

Large tree with a drooping pyramidal crown of medium density. Main branches diverge from the trunk at an angle close to straight. Bark on the trunk and main branches is smooth, gray-brown. Predominant type of fruiting structures — simple and complex rings.

Medium-length shoots, straight, round in cross-section, reddish-brown, without hairs. Numerous, large buds on the shoot. Buds are bent, medium-sized, elongated, conical, smooth. Leaves are medium-sized, elliptical, short-pointed, green, smooth, glossy, with delicate venation. Leaf margin slightly serrated, finely toothed, wavy, blade slightly concave, curved upwards, hairless. Petiole long, thin, hairless.
Flower buds medium-sized, smooth, elongated. Flowers medium-sized, small-cup-shaped, white, fragrant. Petals round, short.

Fruits of medium size, weighing 120–160 g, medium uniformity, short- and oval-pear-shaped, with smooth surface, slightly angled near the pedicel. Main color at harvest maturity is green, with a light sunburn covering part of the fruit. Main fruit color at consumer maturity is greenish-yellow, with a light sunburn covering part of the fruit, blurred, brownish. Numerous medium-sized, green and gray lenticels, clearly visible. Pedicel medium-sized, thick, slightly curved. Calyx cavity small, medium and weakly rusted. Receptacle non-falling, plate small, wide, smooth. Heart medium-sized, heart-shaped. Seed chambers half-open, medium-sized. Sub-receptacle tube short, wide, cup-shaped. Seeds medium-sized, egg-shaped-conical, dark brown.
Fruit flesh is greenish-cream, dense, semi-oily, finely-grained, becomes tender and very juicy upon full ripening, sweet-sour taste, with a mild aroma, taste is bitter in underripe fruits. Sensory evaluation: appearance — 4.1 points, taste — 4.5 points. Chemical composition of fruits: sugars — 10.0%, acids — 0.15%.
Harvesting calendar in Moscow conditions — end of September — beginning of October. Consumption period from mid-October to early January (when stored in refrigerator). Very early-fruiting and high-yielding variety (35 t/ha).

Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, high early fruiting, high fruit quality during autumn-winter consumption.
