Pea OMSK 7

The OMSK 7 pea variety is a medium-maturing semi-defoliant (defoliant) variety with high grain and green mass productivity. It is characterized by drought resistance, lodging resistance, and shattering resistance, ensuring a stable yield even in complex climatic conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds ranges from 170 to 240 grams, and the protein content in the grain varies from 21.2% to 26.4%, making this variety valuable for producing high-quality protein products. Record grain yields reach 6.33 tons per hectare.

OMSK 7 has high resistance to major pea diseases, including ascochitis and root rots, which significantly reduces crop losses and improves its quality. Medium and above-average drought resistance combined with high resistance to lodging and shattering make this variety a reliable choice for cultivation in various agro-climatic zones. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety is widely used for both grain and green pea production.

The variety is included in the state register and recommended for cultivation in the Western Siberia region. Its high technicability and yield stability make OMSK 7 in demand among agricultural producers seeking to obtain quality and high-productivity peas. Thanks to its unique properties, the variety is successfully applied in various agro-technical systems, ensuring efficient use of land resources and obtaining high yields.
