Industrial-grade productivity

When selecting a variety for processing, the «Saharnaya Golova» hybrid from «Geterozisnaya Selektsiya» stands out for its sheer volume and durability. With a maturation period of 150–160 days, it is a late-season crop that demands precise management but delivers a remarkable yield of over 100 tons per hectare.

Operational performance

• Harvesting: The bulbs exhibit excellent structural integrity, making them well-suited for mechanical harvesting and bulk transport without significant mechanical damage.
• Storage: In controlled environments, the shelf life reaches 6–7 months, providing a stable supply for industrial processing lines throughout the winter season.
• Processing: Specifically optimized for drying and preserving, this variety offers a high dry matter content which is crucial for maximizing processing efficiency.

It develops a robust root system, allowing the crop to tolerate transient environmental stress. For commercial growers looking to balance scale with high quality, this variety remains a top-tier choice for consistent, large-scale production.
