SANYKINA LYUBOV is an early-maturing variety of shallot developed by Ural breeders, characterized by large bulb size and rapid maturity. The period from germination to leaf lodging is about 50-53 days, and to green harvest is only 28 days. The leaves of this variety are wide, green, with a weak waxy coating, forming a powerful upright rosette. From one plant, you can get up to 180-200 grams of tender, high-quality greens, which makes the variety particularly valuable for cutting and early forced cultivation of green leaves in greenhouses. The SANYKINA LYUBOV bulbs have a transverse-elliptic or round shape with a tight fit of dry tunic scales of golden-yellow color, while the juicy scales are white. The mass of one bulb varies from 80 to 120 grams, 5 to 7 form in the bulb. The taste of the onion is semi-sharp, making it universal for various culinary purposes. The variety is characterized by high yield - up to 3.7 kg per square meter, and the commercial yield reaches 2.8-3.7 kg/m2. Thanks to the high content of dry matter (up to 35%), this onion is excellent for drying and preparing onion powder. SANYKINA LYUBOV is characterized by good winter hardiness (up to 95%) and resistance to main onion diseases, including powdery mildew and alternaria. Bulbs possess high preservation and storability - up to 280 days, which allows long storage of the harvest without loss of quality. The variety is recommended for growing in a two-year culture from planting bulbs, especially for spring planting and obtaining greens in the early period. It responds to watering and demonstrates stable yield and quality in different years.
