Description BOTERUS
The Boterus onion variety belongs to the medium-early group and is intended for cultivation both as a one-year crop from seeds and as a two-year crop from sets. The bulbs of this variety have a round-flat shape and weigh from 60 to 80 grams. The inner scales are white, while the dry scales are yellow, with a count of 3-4. The neck of the bulbs is of medium thickness, and the number of primordia varies from two to three. The onion has a sharp taste, making it attractive for various culinary purposes.

BOTERUS is characterized by high marketable yield, reaching from 20 to 40 tons per hectare, which corresponds to the standards of well-known varieties. Bulb maturation before harvesting is about 85%, and after after-ripening it reaches 97%, indicating good quality and ripeness of the product. Thanks to these indicators, the variety is recommended for storage, as the bulbs retain their properties for a long time.

This onion variety is excellent for growing for bulb onions and is widely used in agriculture due to its reliability and stable yield. The medium-early maturation period allows obtaining the product at optimal times, which is convenient for planning sowing and harvesting works. Boterus is a universal variety that combines high quality, good taste, and suitability for long-term storage.
