Description Bonus F1
Bonus F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of bulb onion, intended for cultivation under long daylight conditions. The vegetation period lasts 100-105 days from the emergence of seedlings to technical maturity. Plants are characterized by moderate growth strength, vertical dark green leaves, and low stem height, which promotes rapid and high-quality drying of bulbs after lodging. This hybrid is especially popular in Central and Eastern Europe and is produced by Takii Seeds in Japan.

Bonus F1 bulbs have nearly perfect round shape with diameter 6-8 cm and shiny golden-brown outer scales. Thanks to high uniformity and stable size, the hybrid yields 60-90 tons per hectare. Recommended planting density is about 1 million seeds per hectare, although lower rates (not less than 850-900 thousand seeds per hectare) may be used to obtain larger bulbs without significant yield loss.

The hybrid is intended for fresh consumption and can be stored for 3-5 months. For maximum yield, early planting is recommended, before the beginning of April, which allows plants to form a strong root system. Bonus F1 is distinguished by its stability and high product quality, making it a profitable choice for commercial cultivation and fresh market sales.
