Description BORETS
Onion variety Borets is a mid-maturing hybrid with a vegetation period of 100 to 120 days, depending on growing conditions. The bulbs differ in round or tapered elliptical shape, weighing from 60 to 180 grams, with high density and one- or two-chamber structure. The wrapper scales vary from golden-bronze to dark purple, ensuring a long storage period and preservation of market quality.

The onion taste is moderately sharp, making it universal for various culinary applications. The variety is characterized by increased content of dry matter and sugars, which improves taste qualities and increases storage time. Borets differs in high market yield, reaching 70-80 tons per hectare, and is suitable for mechanized harvesting.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to choose fertile, well-drained soils and well-lit areas. The variety is adapted for growing in the Central and North Caucasian regions, ensuring a stable and quality yield in annual culture.
