Thorus F1 Onion — this is an early hybrid of bulb onion developed by Sakata (Japan), which matures in 90-100 days. This variety is intended for cultivation in open ground and is suitable for various purposes: fresh market, processing, and long-term storage. The bulbs have a round, uniform shape with a diameter of 6 to 12 cm and a weight of 120 to 180 grams. Their dense, golden-brown skin gives them an attractive appearance.

The Thorus F1 hybrid has high yield and resistance to common diseases such as downy mildew and fusarium, reducing the need for frequent application of chemical protectants. Due to these qualities, this variety is popular among farmers and suitable for both commercial cultivation and personal use. The onion belongs to the Spanish type (SPN) and is a day-neutral plant, ensuring good adaptation to climatic conditions in Ukraine, particularly the Odessa region.
