The BAZHENOVSKIY shallot is an early-maturing variety that forms clusters of several bulbs with a common root system. The bulbs have an oval-flat shape and yellow dry skin coloration, with each bulb weighing between 35 and 80 grams. Thanks to the dense placement of dry skin and low moisture content, this variety has excellent storage capabilities and can be stored for up to 9 months without loss of quality.

BAZHENOVSKIY shallot can be grown from seeds (black seeds) or from sets (arpage), which determines its cultivation as either an annual or biennial crop. To successfully obtain large bulbs, it is important to follow agronomic recommendations, including proper crop rotation, soil preparation, and ensuring adequate irrigation. Planting sets is recommended at a soil temperature of about +5°C, usually in mid-April.
