Corveta F1 is an early-maturing hybrid selected in Czechia, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic cover. The plant is bee-pollinated, predominantly with female flowering, which contributes to high yields. The vegetation period is 45-47 days, allowing for a quick harvest.
The fruits of Corveta cucumber have a deep green color and a large-warty surface with white spines. The fruit length varies from 8 to 10 cm, weighing 80-90 g, with a length-to-width ratio of approximately 3.1-3.6:1. The cucumbers have an attractive shape and excellent flavor, genetically free from bitterness, making them especially appealing to consumers.
The hybrid is resistant to major cucumber viral diseases such as cucumber mosaic virus, olive spot, and powdery mildew. Thanks to these characteristics, Corveta F1 is ideal for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and salting, expanding its applications in both home and commercial cultivation.
