Cucumber ALTAY F1

Altai F1 cucumber is an early-maturing hybrid of the cornichon type with predominantly female flowering. The vegetation period is 46-48 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The fruits are light green, oval-shaped with a length-to-width ratio of approximately 3.5:1, measuring 6-9 cm in length and 1-3 cm in diameter. They are finely ribbed, white-tipped, uniformly shaped and sized, non-bitter, making them ideal for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning. Fruit weight is about 80-90 g, with yields reaching up to 6 kg per square meter.

Altai F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, bacterial wilt, and fungal infections. It tolerates short-term temperature drops and stressful conditions, making it especially suitable for cultivation in northern regions and areas with sharp temperature fluctuations and cold fog. The medium-height plant has good regenerative properties, contributing to stable and prolonged fruiting.

The variety is versatile and adaptable to various growing conditions, suitable for both open ground and protected cultivation, including greenhouses and heavy soils. The planting rate is 30–50 thousand plants per hectare. A distinctive feature of the variety is the prolonged retention of green fruit color, which is convenient for gardeners who visit their plots irregularly.
