Onion Apollo

Stability and Yield Potential

The «Apollo» onion, presented by Agroalyans in partnership with the originator agro-Tip Handels-u. Consultingges. mbH, has firmly established itself in the professional vegetable market. This hybrid is a classic mid-season variety focused on high-quality produce with excellent storage capabilities. In the climate of the region, «Apollo» has proven its worth as a crop with high germination energy and stable foliage development, which is critical for forming large, healthy bulbs.

Agronomic Advantages

The key value of this hybrid lies in its adaptability to various soil types, provided that irrigation and mineral fertilization practices are maintained. Agroalyans' choice of this genetic material is driven by its uniformity: the bulbs have a consistent shape and dense outer scales, which minimizes mechanical damage during harvest. The internal structure is succulent and features the desired pungency, making it suitable for both fresh market sales and processing.

• Storage life: The hybrid maintains its marketability until late spring if proper storage temperatures are followed.
• Application: Versatile — suitable for retail chains, long-term storage, and industrial processing.
• Health: High resistance threshold to common onion diseases, allowing for an optimized fungicide treatment schedule.

By choosing «Apollo», growers secure a predictable outcome. This is more than just seed material; it is a refined selection solution where every growth stage—from root development to final maturity—is optimized to maximize the yield of marketable fractions.
