Description CEPARIUS
Ceparius is a mid-season variety of onion intended for growing for bulb production, both as a one-year crop from seeds and as a two-year crop from sets. The bulbs have a round-flat or transverse-elliptical shape with a weight of 50 to 80 grams. The dry layers of the onion are yellow, while the juicy ones are white, with the number of dry layers being 3-4. The plant neck is of medium thickness, with two or three seedling buds. The onion has a sharp taste, making it universal for various culinary purposes.

Plants reach a height of 40-50 cm and require planting at a depth of about 5 cm with a distance between plants of approximately 10 cm. The onion develops well in both sunny places and partial shade. The variety is distinguished by high marketable yield, which varies from 146 to 345 centners per hectare, and can reach up to 350 centners per hectare in the Moscow region. The maturation of bulbs before harvesting is 60 to 90%, and after ripening it reaches 98-100%, ensuring high quality and preservation of the harvest.

Ceparius has high resistance to downy mildew, which significantly reduces the risk of crop loss even in unfavorable years with epidemics. Thanks to this, the variety is suitable for reliable production of both bulbs and seeds. In addition, the onion stores well, allowing its use for a long time after harvesting.
