Miscanthus BAGRYANY

The Architectural Edge of Your Landscape

The "Bagryany" (Crimson) Miscanthus, developed by the "Pervy Pitomnik" (First Nursery) under the guidance of Marina Mikhailovna Grigorovich, is a premium choice for landscape designers and property owners looking for scale and durability. Standing at 2.5 to 3 meters tall, this ornamental grass is engineered to serve as a dominant vertical element.

Practical Applications and Scenarios

• Privacy and Zoning: With its impressive height, "Bagryany" acts as a natural living fence. It provides effective screening for private zones, swimming pools, or utility areas, offering a softer, more eco-friendly alternative to rigid fencing.
• Wind and Dust Mitigation: When planted in rows, the dense foliage filters dust and serves as a windbreak, protecting more delicate species in your garden from strong gusts.
• Landscape Structuring: Perfect for flanking large driveways or defining the borders of expansive grounds. Its structural integrity ensures the plant does not flop over during autumn rains.

The true value of this hybrid lies in its seasonal transformation. As the name suggests, the foliage shifts into rich crimson and copper tones during the autumn months. Unlike many other grasses that require immediate cutting back after the first frost, "Bagryany" holds its upright shape well into the winter, offering year-round visual appeal and structure to the garden landscape.

When planning your planting scheme, keep in mind that this variety requires sufficient lateral space to reach its full height and volume. It is a dominant plant that commands attention, making it an excellent investment for those looking to add volume and texture to their land without excessive ongoing maintenance.
