Melon ZLATO SKIFOV

ZLATO SKIFOV melon is a mid-early hybrid with a maturity period of 75-80 days from germination. This variety is intended primarily for growing in plastic greenhouses, where an optimal microclimate is provided for fruit formation. Plants require tying to a trellis and regular removal of side shoots to improve ventilation and lighting. 2-3 fruits of an oval shape form on one plant with a dense, tender net on the rind. The weight of the fruits ranges from 1100 to 1300 grams, and the flesh is characterized by a yellow color, juiciness, and a pleasant persistent aroma. ZLATO SKIFOV belongs to the Galia type and is characterized by unpretentiousness in care, as well as abundant fruit set. The melon flesh is creamy, sweet, and aromatic, making it particularly attractive to consumers. The hybrid has high resistance to powdery mildew and adverse weather conditions, which contributes to a stable harvest and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Thanks to these qualities, the melon is well stored and retains its taste properties for a long time. In addition, the variety demonstrates cold resistance and resistance to various diseases, which expands the possibilities of its cultivation in various climatic conditions. The fruits have good transportability, which allows them to be used both for fresh consumption and for sale in markets. Moderate watering is especially important during the maturation period to preserve the juiciness and aroma of the flesh. Overall, ZLATO SKIFOV is a high-quality melon hybrid with excellent taste characteristics and reliable resistance to diseases.
