TamanSKAYA melon is an ultramature variety distinguished by its ripening speed, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary shelters. The period from germination to the first harvest is 50-60 days, allowing for early production. The fruits have an oval or round-oval shape with smooth yellow skin covered by a medium-density netting. Fruit mass varies from 0.5 to 2.0 kg, making them convenient for transportation and storage. Yield reaches 15-20 tons per hectare, while total yield can range from 34 to 169 centners per hectare depending on growing conditions. The melon flesh is creamy, tender, and juicy, with a thickness of about 3-4 cm. It has a pleasant aroma and sweet taste, with dry matter content ranging from 8.1 to 14%, and total sugars from 5.7 to 11.2%, ensuring high fruit quality. The variety is characterized by weak susceptibility to powdery mildew, which eases care and increases plant resistance. Thanks to uniform ripening and good transportability, TamanSKAYA melon is a valuable choice for commercial cultivation and home plots. For successful cultivation, sowing is recommended when the soil warms up to 15-16 °C at a depth of 8-10 cm, with a seed planting depth of 1-1.5 cm. In case of seedling method, seedlings are transplanted after the threat of frost has passed, when 3-4 true leaves appear. The optimal planting scheme in open ground is 100x100 cm, and in greenhouses — 70x70 cm using trellises. On home plots, melons can be grown by grafting onto pumpkin, which increases the cold resistance of plants. Such a complex of agrotechnical measures contributes to obtaining a high and quality harvest.
