The melon 'TsyPchka' is a mid-season hybrid that ripens 85-90 days after germination. The plant is vining with a main vine of medium length, which ensures ease of cultivation in film greenhouses. The fruits have an elliptical or oval shape and a lemon-yellow color. Their mass ranges from 1.5 to 2 kg. The fruit skin is smooth, without a net, with moderate wrinkling, and the seed cavity is small, making the melon particularly attractive to consumers.
The melon flesh is of medium thickness, with a greenish-white hue, noted for its tenderness, juiciness, and high sweetness, making this hybrid especially tasty. To obtain a quality harvest, sowing for seedlings is recommended in April, followed by transplanting into film greenhouses at the end of May – early June. The planting scheme is 70x150 cm; up to a height of 50 cm, all side shoots are removed, and subsequent ones are pinched above the 1st-3rd leaf, which promotes better development of the main vine and fruits.
Plant care includes moderate watering, especially during fruit ripening, which helps maintain their juiciness and sweetness. The 'TsyPchka' hybrid has high resistance to powdery mildew and fusarium wilt, significantly reducing disease risks and enhancing harvest stability. Thanks to these characteristics, the 'TsyPchka' melon is an excellent choice for greenhouse cultivation.
