Melon MARGO

Early Harvest and Reliable Performance

For growers focusing on efficiency, the 'Margo' melon offers a predictable production cycle, reaching maturity in just 60–65 days. Developed by the Gavrish breeding firm and the All-Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding (VNIIISSOK), this variety is engineered to thrive in local climatic zones, reducing the complexity of crop maintenance and lowering production risks.

Technical Specifications for Producers

• Fruit Weight: Consistent production of 2.0–3.0 kg melons simplifies sorting, packing, and transportation logistics.
• Visual Appeal: The vibrant orange flesh serves as a significant market differentiator, appealing to consumers looking for premium visual quality.
• Crop Management: 'Margo' responds well to standard agronomic practices without requiring specialized input or extreme maintenance, making it highly suitable for both open-field and tunnel cultivation.

Operational efficiency is a key advantage of this variety. The uniform maturation of the fruits significantly streamlines harvest operations, minimizing field losses and improving the sellable yield per hectare. Its natural resilience allows for optimized pest and disease management, helping to keep operational costs under control. 'Margo' represents a well-balanced solution for farming operations aiming to combine rapid time-to-market with high-quality, mid-sized fruit output.
