The Sunny melon is an early-maturing hybrid created by crossing the Israeli Haogen variety with the Galia F1 variety. This variety is distinguished by its excellent taste qualities and early maturity—fruits are ready for harvest 65-75 days after emergence. The fruits have an oval-spindle shape and weigh from 2 to 3 kilograms, which corresponds to 4-6 pounds. The fruit skin is bright golden in color, thickly covered with a dense and strong netting that ensures durability and protects the flesh.

The flesh of the Sunny melon is dense, crisp, and milky-white in color, with a cream tint near the skin and an orange hue around the seed cavity.
