Lipneva

Lipneva watermelon is an early-maturing variety with a vegetative period of 65 to 77 days, allowing harvest as early as the beginning of summer. The fruits are round and weigh between 0.7 and 1.5 kg. The rind is lemon-yellow with a slight netted structure, while the flesh has a creamy hue, tender texture, and high sweetness, making this variety an excellent summer dessert.

This watermelon variety is characterized by high drought resistance and disease resistance, making it easier to cultivate under various climatic conditions. Lipneva prefers warm, sunny locations and well-drained, organic-rich soils, which contribute to the formation of juicy, flavorful fruits. The recommended seeding rate for open ground is 1.5–2 grams per 10 square meters.

Lipneva watermelon fruits are intended for fresh consumption and possess good taste qualities due to their juicy, dense flesh. Despite some differences in transportability ratings, the variety generally exhibits satisfactory storage during transport, making it suitable for both personal use and market distribution.
