KAZACHKA 244

The KAZACHKA 244 melon variety represents a mid-early or mid-season variety with high yield and sweet, fragrant fruits. The plants form powerful bushes with long tendrils, which are recommended for growing in film greenhouses or in open ground. For seedling planting, seeds are sown at the end of April, and seedlings are planted at the end of May – beginning of June, when the plants reach an age of 30-35 days. Plants are tied to trellises, side shoots are removed, and they are pinched over the 1-3 leaf to form optimal growth. Irrigation should be moderate, especially during the fruiting period, which helps form 2-3 fruits on one plant.

The KAZACHKA 244 melon fruits have an oval-rounded shape, with an average weight ranging from 1.2 to 4 kg depending on growing conditions. The skin is smooth, bright yellow or golden-yellow in color with elements of a net, without a pronounced pattern. The flesh is cream-white, of medium thickness, dense, juicy, and slightly crunchy, distinguished by a rich sweet taste with honey notes. The seed chamber is small, making the fruit especially pleasant to eat. The variety is characterized by good transportability and storage ability, which allows maintaining fruit quality during transport and storage.

KAZACHKA 244 has high resistance to diseases, in particular powdery mildew and fusarium, which significantly facilitates care and increases yield stability. The vegetation period is 65-75 days. It is recommended to maintain the temperature regime during planting in the ground – not lower than 15 °C. This variety is suitable for both greenhouse and open-ground cultivation, making it a universal choice for various climatic conditions.
