Melon LYOUILLA

Lyouilla F1 is an early to mid-early Honey Dew type watermelon hybrid, characterized by strong growth vigor and a medium-vining plant type. The maturation period is approximately 60 days after seedling transplanting, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant is well-leafed, providing protection for fruits from sunburn and helping maintain their marketable appearance.

Lyouilla fruits have a broadly elliptical or round shape with smooth, white, netless rind. The average fruit weight ranges from 3 to 4.5 kg. The flesh features a tender texture, white color with a greenish hue, and a very pleasant sweet taste. Fruits retain their marketable qualities for 20-25 days after harvest, ensuring convenient storage and transportation.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases such as Fusarium wilt (designated as Fom:0,1,2) and powdery mildew (Px:1). Thanks to these characteristics and good tolerance to arid conditions, Lyouilla F1 is excellent for cultivation in various regions, including dry territories. High yield of marketable product and concentrated harvest make this hybrid an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers.
