The "Vuiko" zucchini variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding bush-type variety, characterized by compactness and uniform fruit formation. The plant is highly branched, promoting abundant fruiting. Fruits are cylindrical with a smooth, shiny surface, light green or white in color, sometimes with a ribbed base. Average fruit weight ranges from 0.3 to 1 kg, with white, medium-density, tender, juicy flesh containing a small number of seeds.
Key advantages of this variety include early maturity — fruiting occurs 36–44 days after sowing, high yield up to 7 kg per square meter, as well as drought and temperature fluctuation resistance. Thanks to these qualities, the "Vuiko" zucchini is well-suited for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable harvest. Young fruits are especially prized for their delicate flavor and soft flesh, making them ideal for culinary use.
For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown in open ground between May and early June, when soil temperature reaches +12…+15°C and the threat of frost has passed. Seed depth is 3–5 cm, and planting spacing is 60×60 cm, ensuring optimal space for plant development and fruiting. Ideal growing conditions include sunny, well-heated areas with light, fertile soils.
