The Ideal melon variety is a mid-late variety with oval fruits of dark yellow color, adorned with a speckled pattern. The flesh is green and tender, making them especially pleasant to eat fresh. The fruits weigh from 2 to 3 kilograms and ripen 60-70 days after germination, allowing for a harvest in a relatively short time.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to fusarium and powdery mildew, and also tolerates drought and hot weather well, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. For planting, it is recommended to sow seeds when the soil temperature reaches 16 °C at a spacing of 50-80 cm between holes. Yield under dryland conditions can reach from 112 to 352 centners per hectare.
Ideal melon seeds are packaged in packs of 20 pieces and are intended for producing large, tasty, and storable fruits with high sugar content, smooth texture, and ambrosia aroma. This variety is excellent for both commercial farming and personal holdings, providing a stable and quality harvest.
