Melon Caramel CL F1

Watermelon Caramel CL F1 is an early-maturing, high-yielding hybrid of the "Pineapple" type, distinguished by rapid ripening and exceptional flavor. From seed sowing to technical fruit maturity, it takes only 50-60 days, allowing harvest at the beginning of the warm season and quick market entry. The fruits are oval-shaped, weighing 2.5 to 3 kg, sometimes up to 4 kg, with a creamy-yellow rind covered by a prominent, large netting. The flesh is white, with a strong aroma and sweet, pineapple-vanilla flavor, and the seed cavity is very small, making them particularly attractive to consumers.

The plant is vigorous, with climbing, well-leafed bushes spaced every 90 cm, ensuring stable nutrition and development. The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to various cultivation methods: it can be successfully grown in open ground, under temporary covers, in low tunnels, and greenhouses. Caramel CL F1 is resistant to stressful conditions, maintaining growth and fruit formation without slowing down, and is resistant to Fusarium (races 1 and 2), dry rot, and false powdery mildew, significantly enhancing yield reliability.

The hybrid’s yield is impressive: one plant can produce 2 to 8 fruits weighing 1.8–3 kg, and with optimal cultivation techniques, yield reaches 90 tons per hectare or 500–600 kg per 100 square meters. The fruits are well-suited for long-distance transport and maintain their taste and commercial qualities for more than three weeks. Watermelon Caramel CL F1 seeds are packaged in professional packaging, providing reliable protection against external influences, making this hybrid a popular choice among professional melon growers and a market leader in Eastern Europe.
