The Planet clover variety is distinguished by high dry matter productivity, making it a sought-after component in silage-type grass mixtures such as Country. It is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, where it demonstrates stable yields and resilience to adverse conditions.
Planet is characterized by high disease resistance, particularly to froge and bacterial wilting, significantly enhancing its durability and reliability in agronomic terms. During testing years, no diseases were observed, confirming its resistance and quality.
For sowing, the recommended rate is 20 kg/ha, with a thousand seed mass of 2 g, ensuring an estimated plant density of 8-10 million plants per hectare. Before sowing, at least 30 kg/ha of phosphorus and 30 kg/ha of potassium (as active ingredients) should be applied. Seedlings are protected using Bazagran and Treflan. The cutting regime includes the first cut at a plant height of 8-10 cm, the second and third at 7-8 cm, and the fourth at 10-12 cm. The effective usage period for this variety is 4 years.
